My name is Chase Carter and I am a proud Adventure STEM student!

Adventure isn't a normal school. Unlike any other middle schools we allow 5th and 6th graders to attend at Adventure but they have to go with a middle school time so this means they have 6 classes. We are a pretty small campus with only 7 classes. Most of the time you can walk to your class in 1 or 2 minutes. Also Adventure never gives you packets of homework to do at home. Most of the work we do is on the computers. These are the reasons that Adventure is awesome.

Adventure is a hands on experience in class at all times. Every class I have isn't the teacher teaching one thing, then giving us two or three pages of paper for classwork and homework. What they do is they teach us something then they either give us some kind of group project, individual project or a thing to work on on a computer. For example, when in science my teacher will teach me about something like the prehistoric eras. Then she says after we learn it we will be doing a group project on the eras. We had to make a poster on all 4 eras that have happened/ happening.

Although most of Adventure is not paper, pencil and classwork, parts of it still are. Of course you can't learn things in math and language arts with just projects. You have to have some lessons. Although the LA(language arts) is all on the computer except for when we write essays, peoms, or brochures. But math can't be all projects. Think about kindergarden. Do you think you would have learned the alphabet with projects? No didn't think so! So in math i have mostly worksheets, but I also have many projects also.

Adventure space is so helpful. Considering Adventure is a small small campus it is very easy to get to class easily. Adventure does allow 5th and 6th graders but at the schedule of a middle schooler. Which means you have 6 classes, 6 periods and 6 different subjects. The only class you may have trouble getting to is P.E. But Adventure is a small 6 classroom building where all of your classes will be.

In conclusion, Adventure is amazing! It is small, hands on experience and mostly not a user of paper. So I hope that when and if you can go to Adventure you will. All links for what we do in adventure is in my tech tools page
